Description

The Dragonfly hotend by Phaetus is an all-metal hotend, with a nickel-plated copper heater block, and unique conical bi-metal heatbreak. Due to the copper heater block, it can be heated to up to 500°C (with high power heater cartridge and high temp thermistor). It also has a higher thermal conductivity, resulting in a slightly higher maximum flow rate.

The big advantage of the conical bi-metal heatbreak is that it dissipates heat way better, making heat creap less likely to occur.

This BMS version is drop-in compatible with most Creality printers, and there are adapter models available for other printers, which can be found here. The BMS version is also great as a replacement hotend for the Prusa Mini (+), and we will release an adapter soon.

It fits a standard heater cartridge and thermistor cartridge, and it includes an adaptor tube to use a glass bead thermistor.

Compatible filaments: PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PP, PC, Nylon, PEEK, PEI and composite materials containing abrasive additives, such as carbon fiber, steel, wood, etc. *
